Mission
The mission of the African Heritage Ministry is to uplift the Mount Carmel Baptist Church family as well as the general community by providing education, edification, and fellowship. The ministry seeks to eradicate misconceptions about and prejudices against people of Africa and the Diaspora.
Goal
The goal is to shed light on the social, economic, religious, and political history to bring about truth and enlightenment. The ministry celebrates the African presence in the bible, encourages self-love, and embraces the God of all people in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
